Well, the flight wasn't too fabulous (note to passengers: not bathing and then dousing yourself with patchouli does *not* endear you to the woman trapped in the window seat on a five-plus hour flight) and I had to get patted down and partially searched at the San Francisco airport, but overall, I had a wonderful trip. Coming home to presents (I'm looking at you, Marie and Keith) is always a treat, too. Now we're off to the new house to see what's up, and then to Home Depot. Again.

I'm so glad to be home.

i'm watermelon flavoured!

Everything is packed up and I'm ready to go. I'm out of here in an hour to go to the airport, and then the long-ass flight back to Newark. I can't wait.

You know, I really thought that I'd have more than a minute at a time to update this week, but no such luck. I'm having a great time and learning a lot, but damn, I'm tired. Getting home tomorrow to my own house, own bed, and especially Dave will be incredibly welcome.

How's the week going for all of you?

Whew. The last two days have been a total blur, and I keep thinking that it's Tuesday because we had meetings all day yesterday. I'm having a great time, but I'm also trying to assimilate a hell of a lot of information.

Last night, we drove into the city and did a touristy night, taking the cable car, touring Nob Hill, and having the famous Irish coffee at the Buena Vista Cafe. After about five hours of sleep, it was back to the office of our partner to learn more about diabetes.

Tonight, we're out for Vietnamese food, and as luck would have it, for my birthday tomorrow, I'll be attending a sales dinner. Whee!
